Colby Allan Anderson

Colby Anderson, 22, of Spencer, IA, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 in Hinton, IA.
A memorial service will be held Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Christy Smith Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be made to www.christysmith.com .
Colby was born on July 3, 1992 in Sioux City to John Anderson and Stephanie (Colvert) White. He graduated from East High School. He was a proud member of The Army National Guard and participated in the Color Guard. Colby worked at Shine Brothers in Spencer and enjoyed playing video games and talking with friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his infant son Ashton Anderson; mother and stepfather Stephanie (James) White, Sioux City; father John Anderson, Sioux City; siblings: Josh (Penny) Anderson, Elizabeth (Layne) Wood, Ryan (Angie) Anderson, Noah White, Jermiah White, Heston White, Gavin White, Orren White; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces: April, Emma, and Caroline, maternal grandparents, maternal great-grandmother Willa Jo Dye.
His sister Kaitlyn Anderson passed away on Sept. 19, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
