Addie was born December 19, 1949, to Adeline Bramble and Louis Johnson in Brawley, California. She was the 17th child out of 18 children.
Addie lived at Glenwood State School from November 11, 1971, to May 9, 1985, Addie lived her life to the fullest spending 36 years at Courage Homes. She loved morning walks, having manicures, pedicures and being pampered. She loved bacon, chocolate, smelling things, showers, and touching things such as bags, lunch boxes, and doors. Addie loved to people watch, listen to music, go to the park, museums and eat at restaurants.
Addie had many rituals she did every morning and night. One of her favorite rituals was playing with things in her care basket. She would rearrange everything to one side and take her toothpaste and her toothbrush and eat the toothpaste.
Addie worked at Mid-Step Services work center packing silverware. She also enjoyed playing with her Legos and blocks. She was also very independent and wanted to do things by herself, so it was done her way.
Addie was very strong willed and spunky. She was the princess of the house and always let it be known to people.
Addie had many friends at Courage Homes, especially a member Bob who passed away June 9, 2019. She was very loved and will be greatly missed by her Courage Homes family. Addie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
