Alonna K. Schade, 56, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at a local nursing home.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Alonna was born on Oct. 13, 1958, in Sioux City, to James and Donna (Barr) Wanned.
Alonna enjoyed scrap booking, crafting, baking Christmas cookies and cake decorating. She loved music, especially Barbra Streisand and Hank Williams. She proudly belonged to AA and was also a member of the Red Hats.
Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Donna Wanned of Sioux City; sons, James (Heidi) Schade of Ricketts, Iowa, and Robert (Amber) Schade of Ida Grove, Iowa; sisters, Barb (Tom) Wissing of Rogers, Ark., and Joy Whitenack of Sioux City; brother, Jimmy Wanned of Sioux City; grandchildren, Makyia, James Melvin, Caige, Sophia, Jaxen, and Landen; close friend, Earl Sordrager of Merrill, Iowa; ex-husband, Earl Schade of Lakeview, Iowa; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, James; niece, Alicia Hummel; and in-laws, Barb and Bob Patton.
