Anita was born in Red Wing Minn., on March 11, 1961. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Music then moved west to work in the recording industry. A remark she frequently stated was, "I'm a musician and I don't conform."
Anita and Mark met by accident at a Mannheim Steamroller concert at Irvine Meadows Park in Costa Mesa, Calif. Anita became quite familiar with Sioux City. She had a working relationship with Security National Bank's Trust Department and had a love affair with Heelan's class of 1960. When in town, she enjoyed checking out the Twins or Vikings at Miles Inn, including a sandwich, which was a must.
So, you better not pout, because Anita will be home for Christmas. May she and we find solace and peace, Amen.
