Anna Schuh

June 20, 1917 — September 28, 2012

Sioux City - Ann C. Schuh, 95, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the Embassy Care Center in Sergeant Bluff.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Anna was born on June 20, 1917, on a farm northwest of Battle Creek, Iowa, to Henry and Lorena (Eichorn) Schultz.
On April 2, 1945, Anna was united in marriage to Wayne William Schuh in Anthon, Iowa. One child was born to this union, Marlene. They farmed in the Anthon, Oto and Battle Creek areas for 22 years before moving to Sioux City in November 1966. She worked at Weller's Fish Co. Wayne passed away on April 17, 1985. She continued to live in her home until October 2009, when she moved to the Embassy.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Anna loved her family, friends and neighbors. She enjoyed attending the sporting events of her great-grandchildren. She was an excellent caregiver to her son-in-law, when he needed her. She took immense pride in her yard and enjoyed mowing it. Anna also enjoyed sewing and making beautiful afghans, which her family can remember her with.
Survivors include her daughter, Marlene Wieseler of Sioux City; grandchildren, Mark and Sherri Wieseler of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Diane and Mike Kelly of Sioux City; and great-grandchildren, Skyler, Shay, Ethan, Cole, Morgan, Rylie and Delaney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; a son-in-law, Duane; and four brothers, Alvin, Herman, Walter, and Clarence Schultz.
