SIOUX CITY | Anne J. Kelly, 95, of Sioux City passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at a local care facility in Sioux City.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Retirement Center Chapel, with Monsignor Roger Augustine from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Anne was born on May 26, 1917, in Sioux City, to Thomas and Mary (FitzGibbon) Kelly. She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Schools and later graduated from Cathedral High School. She later attended Briar Cliff College. Anne was employed with Perkin Brothers and later the Sioux City Journal for 32 years. She was also the registrar at Heelan High School for 10 years. She was a lifelong resident of Sioux City.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sioux City and the Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by extended family and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Mary F. Minette, Virginia Kelly and Sister Mary Alan Kelly O.P.
