Anne B. Postello, 88, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Pioneer Valley Nursing and Rehab in Sergeant Bluff.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes. Burial will be at Floyd Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Anne was born on Dec. 11, 1929, in Sioux City, to Paul and Eva (Ksenevich) Urbanos. She graduated from East High School in 1948.
On July 10, 1949, Anne married Carl Postello. They later divorced. Anne was a resident of Sioux City for all but 11 years of her life. She was an office manager for Orthopedic Associate's for more than 20 years. Anne was also a member of IC Catholic Parish.
During her free time, Anne loved to play bridge with her friends, read books, Christmas, traveling with her sister, Helen, and collecting angels. But most importantly, she loved spending time with her family as she was the center of any family activity.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Deborah Postello; son, David (Kim) Postello; son-in-law, Jerry Kuns; grandchildren, Britton and Tyler Postello, Adrian and Julian Jantz; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; three brothers; and her beloved daughter, Theresa Postello, who was so dearly missed.
