ELK POINT, S.D. -- Ashley Kay Zeller, 16, of Elk Point passed away suddenly in an automobile accident Friday, Sept. 7, 2007. She was a beautiful girl, whose smile and spirit brightened the path for those around her. An excellent student and athlete, Ashley attended Elk Point Jefferson Elementary, Middle and High Schools. She also was a member of the 2006 district and regional volleyball championship team, which placed sixth in the State Class "A" volleyball tournament.
