LAWTON, Iowa -- B. Annette Corbett, 53, of Lawton, formerly of Atlanta, Ga., passed away unexpectedly at her residence.

Annette was born Nov. 16, 1954, in Savannah, Ga., to Homer and Sally (Hulsey) Gailey. She was raised and educated in Savannah. She later obtained her master's degree in nursing from the University of Florida. She moved to Atlanta, where she resided until 2006.
She was united in marriage to Graeme P. Corbett on Sept. 5, 1997, in Roswell, Ga. She was a critical care nurse in the Atlanta area. The couple moved to Lawton in 2006.
She was born and raised Southern Baptist. Her hobbies included sea kayaking, reading and family gatherings.
Survivors include her husband, Graeme Corbett of Lawton; her mother, Sally Gailey of Savannah, Ga.; a brother, Marion and Teresa Gailey of Charleston, S.C.; nieces and nephews, Anthony, Jessica, Christy and Kira; and her pets, Nutmeg and Rhett.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Polly.
