Beverly Ann Fritz, 82 of Sioux City, Iowa died on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at a local nursing home.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel located at 1801 Morningside Ave. Sioux City, Iowa with Pastor Jon Gerdts of Morningside Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., Sioux City, Iowa.

Beverly was born December 11, 1939, in Pender, Nebraska, to Edward and Viola Heineman Schmeckpeper. She grew up there and graduated from Pender High School. She married Earl L. Fritz on Aug 29, 1965, in Pender. The couple later moved to Sioux City. Beverly worked as a server at Sunshine and later in the cafeteria at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Surviving are daughter, Staci Uhl, and her husband Randy, three stepdaughters: Brenda Allyn, Linda Jones, and Debra Moriston, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. a sister Lorna Wingett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters Jan, Gail, and Linda, three brothers: Stan, Less, and Gordon.
