Sioux City - Beverly A. Trizila, 64, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at a local hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Celebration of life services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. In accordance with Bev's request, casual dress is required. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Beverly was born Aug. 5, 1948, in Sioux City, to Clarence and Dorothy (Andersen) Foreman.
Beverly was a great wife, friend and cook, who spent the majority of her life caring for others and her garden. She had a contagious laugh and smile that would light up the room. Beverly was a devoted animal lover, who took in many strays and abandoned pets so they could have a loving home.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Trizila; sons, Robert J. Dalton and Joseph Ohler; daughter, Tiffany Casares; stepchildren, Lisa Poff, Dawn Hindman and Kari Trizila; grandchildren, Sara Dela Cruz, Karissa Ohler, Sarah Ohler, Rudy Ohler, Emily Ohler, Mariah Ohler, Chantel Fourkiller and Dennis Trizila II; brother-in-law, Jerry Sparks; niece, Johna Parker; as well as several nieces, nephews and stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gwen Sparks; daughter, Theresa Foreman; and best friend, Paulette Smith.
