Bonnie Joyce Ingenthron

June 22, 1935 — June 19, 2016

Bonnie Ingenthron, 80, of Dakota Dunes, formerly of Spearfish, S.D., passed away peacefully Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Westwood Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her family.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
Bonnie was born on June 22, 1935, in Lebanon, S.D., to Henry and Lenora (Breitkreutz) Griese. She was married to Mitchell Middleton and they had two children. She was later married to James Ingenthron on June 22, 1973. They made their home in Spearfish and Dakota Dunes. Bonnie worked as a LPN at the Veterans Hospital in Sturgis, S.D. for many years.
She will be remembered by her family and friends for never forgetting a birthday or anniversary and sending out cards for each occasion.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Jim of Dakota Dunes; son, Rob (Lisa) Middleton of Pflugerville, Texas; daughter, Brenda Middleton of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Kristina Middleton of Clara City, Minn., and Abby Middleton of Minneapolis; brothers, Charles and Lewis Griese; sister, Deanna Griese; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, LeRoy Griese; sister, Mildred Bernhagen; and a brother and sister-in-law.
