SIOUX CITY -- Bonnie Jane March, 47, of Sioux City died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, surrounded by her family, at her residence under hospice care.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. The body was cremated. Visitation with the family will be 5 p.m. until service Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to

Bonnie Jane was born Nov. 7, 1963, in Sioux City, the daughter of Cecil and Maggie (Lodge) Kemp. She attended Sioux City schools and earned her general education diploma from Western Iowa Tech Community College. She was a lifelong resident of Sioux City.
She was employed with the Siouxland Regional Transit Co., first as a driver then as a dispatcher. She was forced to quit because of her failing health.
She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, playing pool, hot tubs, bonfires and singing karaoke. She also enjoyed riding her golf cart. She loved her family and friends. Bonnie touched the lives of everyone she knew. She fought a courageous battle against her illness. She was always worried about everyone else. She loved her dogs, Dutches and Lily. She valued her time at Sugar Daddy's casino. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Siouxland for the special blessing and a special thanks to Jodi and Doris.
Survivors include her husband, Ben A. Nappe of Sioux City; her son, Dustin Herbst of Sioux City; a stepson, Austin Nappe of Sioux City; a brother, Gary Kemp and his wife, Cindy of Clarksville, Tenn.; her sisters, Debbie Guinn and her fiance, Richard Freymond of Sioux City, and Lesa McKernan and her husband, Elwin of Sioux City; her best friend and sister, Kerry Benoit of Sioux City; and her nieces and nephews, Nina and Kierra McKernan, Michael and Daniel Wenzel, Michael Benoit and Malinda Benoit, Joseph Jr. and Alexandria Benoit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jerry Kemp.
