Bonnie Jean Woeck, 62, Moville, IA, died November 10, 2024, at a local hospital.

Per Bonnie's wishes, she will be cremated, and services will be at a later date. Christy-Smith Funeral Homes is in charge of local arrangements.

Bonnie was born August 25, 1962, in Pottstown, PA, to Vaughn & Rosa (Heisig) Troop. The family moved several times while Bonnie was growing up due to her father being in the US Air Force. She graduated from Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, and went on to attend votech (Vocational Technical) school for cosmetology in Las Vegas. She opened her own beauty salon in Las Vegas and did various stars from the Las Vegas strip shows. Later, she worked at Walmart as a human resource coordinator and in the billing department at Sky Chef. When her father's health was failing, she moved to Sequim, WA, to help take care of him. While there she met Robert D. Woeck Jr., and the couple were married July 7, 2007. Bonnie worked at Seven Cedars Bingo Parlor and the VFW in Sequim. Bonnie and Robert moved to rural Moville, IA, in June of 2019, and Robert worked for a local trucking firm. Bonnie was a past president of the Sequim VFW Post 4760 auxiliary and past District president of the VFW auxiliary in WA. Bonnie enjoyed watching services at the Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines, IA. She loved to go camping and fishing with Robert.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Robert D. Woeck Jr.; her son, Joey (Casandra) Brantley of Indianola, and his step daughter, Kaylee Lehl; Stepson, Johnathan (Brianna) Woeck of Port Angeles, WA, and his children Emily and Allison; mother, Rosa Szwankowski of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Barbara Gordon of Las Vegas and Brenda Riddal of Vancouver, WA; numerous nieces and nephews; and her two dogs, Booboo and Scooby-Doo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vaughn Troop.
