Following his stroke with extensive therapy Brad worked hard to resume a normal life. Brad was an avid hunter and fisherman. His happiest moments were spending time at the river where he made many lifelong friends.
Brad married Joan Vondrak, November 4, 1978, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. To this union two children were born, Matthew and Ryan Rowe.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Joan; son Matthew (Cyndi) Rowe; granddaughters Madelaine Martinez, Miranda (Cody) Poulsen, Thalia “Ruby” Martinez; great-grandson Waylon Wedmore; mother Joanne Rowe; brother Dan (Sherri) Rowe of Sioux City, IA; father-in-law Joe Vondrak, Hinton, IA; brother-in-law Kevin (Jody) Vondrak; sisters-in-law Denise (Scott) Pfeifer, Shelly (Kevin) Huebner, Mary (Lee) Holder, Elizabeth Vondrak; an aunt Judy Petrik; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Brad was preceded in death by his son Ryan Rowe; his father Edward Rowe; mother-in-law Irene Vondrak; grandparents George & Chloris Grubel and George & Pearl Rowe; and brother-in-law Mike Vondrak.
The family takes comfort in knowing that Brad has joined Ryan at the river and they are once again fishing together.
