SIOUX CITY -- Carol Ann Kamradt, 60, of Sioux City died July 16, 2011, at the Embassy Care Center in Sergeant Bluff after an 18-month illness.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to

Carol was born Nov. 25, 1950, in Sioux City, the daughter of Boyd and Margery (Millage) Robeson. She was raised in Sioux City and attended Sioux City Public School System.
She married Mike L. Kamradt on May 29, 1971, in Sioux City. Carol was employed in sales with Kmart for 10 years. She also owned and operated a child day-care center for 16 years.
She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and even other people's children. She also enjoyed going to the mall to shop for things, especially clothing.
Carol is survived by her husband, Mike of Sioux City; two sons and their wives, Jason and Tracy Kamradt of North Platte, Neb., and Jeff and Whitney Kamradt of Omaha; her mother, Margery Robeson of Wichita, Kan.; grandchildren, Evan DeKok, Zack, Brody and Coy Denney and Kendra Kamradt, all of North Platte, and Sidney, Kal, and Thea Kamradt, all of Omaha; and her brothers and sister, Dean (Chris) Robeson of Dakota Dunes, Dennis Robeson and his friend, Connie Nolan, both of Sioux City, Donnie Robeson of Spokane, Wash., Shirley Myatt of Sioux City, Darrell Robeson of Sioux City and Dale (Lori) Robeson of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Robeson.
