Carol Marguerite Scott, 80, of Sioux City passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, at Sunrise Retirement Center.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Young of New Life Community Church officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Carol was born March 28, 1934, in Sioux City, to Joseph Orien and Ardess (Aronson) Scott. She graduated from Central High School and worked at Woodrow Wilson Jr. High School.
She was a member of New Life Community Church of Nazarene. Carol enjoyed puzzles, writing poetry and volunteering at church.
Survivors include her sisters, Loretta (Kerney) Henry of Foley, Minn., Lovice Munson of Sioux City, and Beverly Volkert of Wisner, Neb.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth, Charles, Paul and Albert Scott; and a sister, Ruth Miller.
