Chad Coyne, 42, of Moville died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moville, with the Rev. Mark Stoll officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Moville.
Chad was born on April 30, 1972, in Sioux City, the son of Mark and Cindy (Rumohr) Coyne. He grew up in Moville, graduating from Woodbury Central High School. Chad continued his education at Western Iowa Tech Community College and Morningside College, finishing with a degree in computer programming.
Chad enjoyed cooking. During his years in high school and college, he was a cook at Theo's. After his education, he worked as a computer technician in Sioux City, moving to California in the mid 1990s and to Texas in 1999. Chad returned to Moville in 2013 and worked as a dealer at The Hard Rock Casino.
During his years in Texas, Chad loved to go to and was very involved in the renaissance festivals in Texas. He also enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his parents, Mark and Cindy Coyne of Moville; sister, Therese (Trever) Case of Sioux City; two nieces, Jadyn and Jenna Case of Sioux City; and aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
