Charles Barnes

Charles Henry Barnes, 46, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, at a Sioux City hospital.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Logan Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.christysmith.com .
Charles was born on Wednesday, April 10, 1968, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Charles Barnes and Ruth (Hernandez) Barnes. He came to Sioux City at the age of 15. He attended North High School. After high school, he worked at Sue Bee Honey for 21 years and retired five years ago due to a disability.
Charles enjoyed working on cars and watching NASCAR races. He enjoyed watching movies. Charles also had fish aquariums which he enjoyed.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Barnes of Sioux City; his brother, Matthew Lee Barnes of Sioux City; and his sister, Christina Barnes (Payman) Hafezi of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles.
