Charles Dean Hinds

Charles "Chuck" Dean Hinds, 56, of Bronson passed away Friday, June 10, 2016, at his home.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Albenisius officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Chuck was born in Sioux City, to John and Delores (Peters) Hinds. He graduated from West High School.
Chuck worked for the Wood, Wire and Metal Lathers' International Union and the Carpenter's Union. Chuck worked for many local contractors and his last employer was Jarco.
His passion for woodworking enabled him to transform trees into beautiful furniture and decorative items. There wasn't a motor or engine he couldn't restore to running condition. Chuck was very proud of his daughter, Charlee.
Survivors include his father, John R. Hinds; his daughter, Charlee Hinds; a brother, John "Jack" Hinds; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores; and a brother, Kenneth Hinds.
