Cheryl K. DeVos, 70, of Sioux City passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jill Clem will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Cheryl was born in Sioux Center, Iowa, on March 6, 1945. She was the daughter of Everett and Madge (Popma) DeBoer. Cheryl was raised in Sioux Center and graduated from Sioux Center High school in 1963. She then attended beauty school in Sioux City.
Cheryl married Thomas Perrin and later married C.W. DeVos. She managed properties and also took care of her home acreage. She loved working in her yard and growing flowers.
Cheryl enjoyed doing home decorating and reading but what she loved most was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Cheryl was a member of Christian Reformed Church.
She is survived by her three sons, Greg Perrin and his fianceé, Katie Delaney of North Sioux City, Jeff and daughter-in-law, Janelle Perrin of Sioux City, and Brad and daughter-in-law, Holly Perrin of Sioux City; 15 grandchildren; and her sister, Deb Rodenburg of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Terry DeBoer and Thomas Perrin
