Chris H. Keuck, 93, of Moville passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, at a Sioux City nursing home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moville, with the Rev. Barb Spaulding officiating. Burial will be at Arlington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Moville.
Chris was born on Oct. 16, 1921, in Moville, to Otto and Anna (Wieck) Keuck. He attended country school in Moville. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946. He farmed for more than 61 years and was very proud of his century farm.
Chris was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moville. He was a head usher and a member of the church council. Chris loved animals, especially dogs.
Those left to honor his memory include his siblings, Doris Grasma of Sioux Falls, S.D., Velma Linerud of Spokane, Wash., Ray Keuck of Sioux City, and LaVern Keuck of Denison, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Gertrude Parkinson, Hattie Ledgerwood, Vesta Davis, and Lydia Fischer; brothers-in-law, Bill Fischer, Clarence Grasma, Earnest Linerud, James Davis, Ollie Ledgerwood, and Don Parkinson; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Keuck.
