Clarice was born Sept. 24, 1928, in Granville, Iowa, to Joseph and Elnora (Bunkers) Bachmann. She attended and graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in Granville. She later attended the National Business Training School in Sioux City.
She married Lloyd E. Moravek on April 22, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio. Their relationship was truly special to them. After their marriage, they lived in various locations on the East coast, returning to the area in 1952. During her working years, she was a bookkeeper for various professional businesses in the Siouxland area and retired in 1984 from B.G.T.T. Insurance.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for nearly 50 years and was active in Monday morning adorations until February of this year.
Her love of family was so dear to her. Her children and grandchildren could track their lives through all of the cards, newspaper clippings, programs, report cards, drawings and pictures she saved. We will miss the warm smiles and hugs she had for us all. We loved her.
