Coleen M. Harsma, 56, of North Sioux City, died Monday, March 13, 2017, at home.
A celebration of life service will be 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at North Sioux City Community Center, 205 Sodrac Drive. Arrangements are with Berkemier Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Coleen Marie Phillips was born on Sept. 28, 1960, in Sioux City the daughter of Roy and Pat (Randall) Phillips. She received her education in Sioux City.
On July 21, 1978, Coleen was united in marriage with Doug Harsma in Elk Point, S.D.
She was a homemaker most of her life.
Coleen enjoyed bingo, video lottery, and shopping, but her greatest love was her family.
Survivors include her five children, Adam (JaDee) Harsma of Colorado Springs, Colo., Melissa (Eric Watkins) Harsma of McCook Lake, S.D., Jacee Warren of Sioux City, Jake Warren of Georgia, and Dustin Beck of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two grandchildren, Ethan Watkins of Sioux City, and Sofie Harsma of Colorado Springs; her mother, Pat Phillips of Pueblo, Colo.; four siblings, Diane Hovland of Sioux City, Brad (Lynn) Phillips of Sioux City, Danny (Melody) Phillips of Pueblo, and Allen Phillips of Pueblo; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy; and an infant brother, Timothy.
