Craig D. Gunsolly, 54, of Sioux City died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at his residence.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Southern Hills Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Miller officiating. Burial of the ashes will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Arrangments are under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to

Craig was born March 11, 1954, in Sioux City, the son of Dale and Joan (Robinson) Gunsolly. He was raised in the Sioux City area.
He married Kay (Glass) Blackford on June 11, 1987 in Sioux City. He worked at Gateway in the I.T. Department and most recently was driving truck for Van Wyk Trucking Firm in Sheldon, Iowa. He retired due to poor health.
He was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church for the past 17 years. He enjoyed golfing and was a soccer coach for the YMCA for his grandsons. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Kay of Sioux City; three children, Kirk and Colleen Blackford of Dexter, Iowa, Korey Blackford of Illinois, and Kristin Hair of Sioux City; five grandchildren, Nate, Josh and Alex Hair and Chance and Shane Blackford; his mother, Joan Gunsolly of Sioux City; five brothers, Gary and Connie of Arizona, Steve, Keith and Linda, Dennis and Tracy and Tony and Rhonda, all of Sioux City; and a nephew and niece, Dusty and Brittany Gunsolly.
