Craig C. Muston Sr., 50, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at his residence.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sioux City with Pastor Dr. John H. Pehrson officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present 5 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Christy-Smith Funeral Home -- Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave. Online condolences may be sent to

Craig Charles Muston Sr. was born on Feb. 7, 1957, to John A. and Deanna (Denning) Muston in Sioux Falls, S.D. He attended and graduated from East High School in Sioux City. Craig spent 18 years in combination with the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He achieved the rank of chief petty officer in the Navy and served on the Kittyhawk, Carl Vinson and USS Nimitz.
Craig and Yong Sun were married on Aug. 9, 1978, in Korea. He was a member of the VFW, Disabled American Vets and a life member of the NRA.
Survivors include his wife, Yong of Sioux City; his father, John A. and wife, Jean of Sioux City; his mother, Deanna Benson of Texas; his sons, Raymond and wife, Tasha and Craig Jr. and wife, Jessica, and Gene and wife, Nicole, all of Sioux City; a daughter, Desiree Schager of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Jon and wife, Leslie, and Tim, all of Sioux City; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
