Cynthia M. Uber, 69 of Blair, Nebraska formerly Sioux City died on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair, Nebraska.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Christy Smith Larkin Chapel located at 2320 Outer Drive Sioux City, Iowa 51104 with Father Peter Nguyen of Blessed Sacrament Church of the Holy Cross Parish officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Christy Smith Larkin Chapel, 2320 Outer Drive, Sioux City, Iowa.

Cynthia was born May 10, 1951 in Sioux City, Iowa, to John and June (Olson) Uber. The family were members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She attended Blessed Sacrament School and graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in 1969. Cynthia continued her education at Briar Cliff University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. After college she taught at Bishop Heelan High School for one year before going to work for Northwestern Bell Telephone as a graphic design artist. Her career later took her to Omaha, NE where she worked for AT&T in graphic design. Cynthia retired in 2012.
Cynthia enjoyed collecting dolls, stamps, coins, and jewelry.
Survivors include her brother; Scott (Mary) Uber of Sioux City, IA , sister; Jo Schipull of Pomeroy, IA., brother; Brian (Deb) Uber of Olathe, KS, brother; Tim Uber of Dakota Dunes , SD, six nieces; Tracy (Jason) Weathers, Kristy(Bob) Marx, Emily (Heath) Holtapp, Joeli (Matt) Souder, Kate (Hasan) Kaval, Kim (Justin) Crosswhite.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to Bishop Heelan High School.
