Daniel Lester Perry III

Daniel “Danny” Lester Perry III left this life on April 7, 2021.

A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Danny was born July 7, 1989, in Council Bluffs, IA. For most of his life, Danny lived in Sioux City, where he attended East High before graduating from Western Iowa Tech.

Danny was a proud father to Daniel and Brynlee Perry, both of whom he loved very much. Danny’s children are safe and loved with their grandparents, Cheryl and Kelly Huseman and their mother, Brandi Huseman. Danny’s father and stepmother, Dan and Shelly Perry are grateful for their time with Danny and know they will see him again someday. Danny’s grandmothers, Denise Perry and Jean Zettle, always found joy in his visits and will miss him dearly. Danny was always close to his siblings, Travis Perry, Abbie (Perry) Fahrendholz, and Jeri Perry, whose love and compassion for Danny will never end.

Danny brought us all laughter and lived with a heart full of hope. Danny left this world before he could share all of his love with us, so we honor him with laughter, love, and fellowship. Our only solace is the knowledge that Danny now knows only love, resting beyond our world in peace with his mom, Joi Perry.
