Darlene M. Kamm, 82, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at a local nursing home.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Darlene was born on July 9, 1932, in Sioux City, to Leo and Margaret (Ripple) Altmanshofer. She graduated from East High School in 1952.
Darlene was united in marriage to LeRoy Kamm in March 1953. He preceded her in death in 2010. Darlene worked at the Woodbury County Clerk's Office for 13 years.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, traveling, fishing, and spending time with her sister and family. Darlene's family was very important to her.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Debbie Rosauer of Sioux City, Judy (Mark) Duncan of Omaha, Douglas (Brenda) Kamm of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Sharon (Tim) Gill of Dakota City; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Levering of Jefferson, S.D.; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Joe Rosauer; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Stier.
