Darlene was born on May 26, 1932, in Moville, the daughter of Otto and Ruth (Hughs) Meister. She attended school and graduated from Moville High School.
Darlene married Lee Roy Morey on June 1, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Arnold Schleuter. They made their home in the Sioux City area. Darlene worked at Zenith during that time. Darlene’s footprints she left with us were her abilities to help others through the Tops Club, Lions Club, Red Hatters and various activities in the church. Darlene’s pastimes were dancing with the love of her life, Lee. She loved spending time with the grandkids, playing cards, reading, crossword puzzles and sudoku.
