David Munoz Romo

David Romo Muñoz, 58, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025. He was a devoted father, husband, and brother who worked beyond unimaginable circumstances to give his loved ones the life he never had. He endured many struggles throughout his life but his faithful devotion to God kept him going forward. David will always be remembered as strong willed, charismatic and especially hardworking. Though he was not someone who liked to be the center of attention, he deserves to be remembered as the great man that he was, leaving a lasting impact on everyone that knew him. We find comfort knowing he is finally at peace, resting.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Salcido De Romo, children, Valente Romo, Azusena Romo, and David Romo-Salcido, siblings, Graciela, Alvaro, Eva, Rosa, Lety, Azucena, Juvenal II, Adriana, & Miguel, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. Proceeded in death by his brother Juvenal I, his father Jose Romo Vazquez & his mother Maria Guadalupe Muñoz.

In lieu of flowers, David would have greatly preferred a prayer for him and his loved ones.

David Romo Muñoz, de 58 años, falleció pacíficamente el 20 de marzo de 2025. Fue un padre, esposo y hermano devoto que luchó contra circunstancias inimaginables para darles a sus seres queridos la vida que él nunca tuvo. Enfrentó muchas dificultades a lo largo de su vida, pero su fiel devoción a Dios lo impulsó a seguir adelante. David siempre será recordado como una persona de carácter fuerte, carismático y, sobre todo, trabajador. Aunque no era alguien a quien le gustara ser el centro de atención, merece ser recordado como el gran hombre que fue, dejando una huella imborrable en todos los que lo conocieron. Nos reconforta saber que finalmente está en paz, descansando.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Rosa Salcido De Romo, sus hijos, Valente Romo, Azusena Romo y David Romo-Salcido, sus hermanos, Graciela, Álvaro, Eva, Rosa, Lety, Azucena, Juvenal II, Adriana y Miguel, así como numerosos amigos y familiares que lo extrañarán profundamente. Le precedieron en la muerte su hermano Juvenal I, su padre, José Romo Vázquez, y su madre, María Guadalupe Muñoz.

En lugar de flores, David hubiera preferido una oración por él y sus seres queridos.
