SIOUX CITY -- Deborah "Debbie" Burge, 52, of Sioux City passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Erpelding officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to

Deborah Ann Walukewicz was born on May 9, 1958, in Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y. She attended and completed her schooling in a private Catholic school in New York. She was raised by her grandmother after her mother's unexpected death.
After leaving New York, Debbie moved to Muskogee, Okla., then to Wallingford, Iowa. While in Wallingford, she met Link Eberly and the couple moved to Estherville, Iowa. From there the couple moved to Des Moines and then to Sioux City in 1989.
Debbie enjoyed gardening, cooking, cleaning, baking, spending time with friends and family, decorating her home and playing games with friends.
Debbie is survived by husband, Link Eberly of Sioux City; daughter, Candace and husband, Tom Drahota of Jackson, Minn.; sons, Marthanyal and wife, Janette Markwardt of Austin, Texas, and Nicholas Burge of Spencer, Iowa; and granddaughters, Mackenzie Drahota, Mackenna Drahota and Brea Anne (Feeney) Burge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rita and Albert; grandmother, Sophie Walukewicz; brother, Martin Walukewicz; uncle and his wife, Paul and Judy Walukewicz; and niece, Sarah Walukewicz.
Debbie will be truly missed by her family and friends.
