LE MARS, Iowa -- Debra J. Anderson, 52, of rural Le Mars died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes in Sioux City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Debra was born on July 31, 1959, in Sioux City, the daughter of Floyd and Pauline (Haralson) Kelly. She grew up in Sioux City and attended East High School.
Debra married Randy Anderson on Aug. 17, 1985. They made their home in Sioux City until moving to the Le Mars area in 1994. Over the years, Debra was a day care provider for many children. Randy died on Feb. 7, 2012.
Debra loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and taking care of her husband, Randy. Debra also enjoyed her dogs, Sadie and Waddles, and her cat, Jersey.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim and Bryan Allen and Brandy and Chad Reimer, all of Sioux Falls, S.D.; three sons, Randy and Brenda Anderson Jr. of Renner, S.D., Travis and Jennifer Anderson of Le Mars and Brian and Kera Anderson of Le Mars; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Larry and Char Kelly of Sergeant Bluff; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Scott Reimer and Kyle Anderson; and two brothers, Ron Kelly and Tom Kelly.
