Dennis D. Hodges

Dennis Dean Hodges, 55, of Sioux City died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at a Sioux City hospital.
A gathering of family and friends will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Christy-Smith Family Resource Center.
Dennis was born on May 18, 1960, in Long Beach, Calif. He was raised in Sioux City and attended Grant and Woodrow Wilson Schools. He lived in Marcus, Iowa, for eight years before returning to Sioux City.
In 2011, he married Jodie Rosewall in Marcus, Iowa. Dennis worked construction in the Siouxland area.
He enjoyed working on cars, gardening and just watching T.V. What he loved most was spending time with the family.
He is survived by his wife, Jodie of Sioux City; his son, Marcus; four daughters, Jamie, Alexis, Seana and Danielle; mother, Shirley Hodges of Marcus; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hodges; and four brothers, Bob, Peter, Clarence and Bruce.
