Diana Marie Jepsen

Diana Jepsen, age 74, of Sioux City passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Christy Smith Funeral Home – Morningside Chapel with burial in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Diana Marie, daughter of Vincent and Lois (Flom) Seible, was born April 4, 1950, in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from Leeds High School. 

Diana then attended college in Kansas where she met her future husband Charles Reeser. Two children were born to this marriage. Diana and Charles later divorced. In June of 2004, Diana was blessed with a second marriage, this time with James Jepsen.

Diana was a stay-at-home mom and did in-home daycare until the kids graduated. She then worked as an office manager at Firestone for a short time before settling in as a medical secretary for Anesthesia Consultants from where she retired. 

Diane enjoyed quilting, butterflies, hot air balloons, strawberries and bunnies. She received a kidney transplant in 1993, and was very enthusiastic about promoting organ and tissue donation. 

Diana is survived by her husband James Jepsen of Sioux City; a daughter Cheri Johnson and husband Jamie of Sioux City; a son James Reeser and wife Lindy of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren: Josh and Steven Johnson; Katelyn Lewis; Stacy, Shantel & Alexis Johnson; Madison and Dylan Waldner; and Brysen Reeser; great-grandchildren: LJ & Harper Lewis, Hendrix and Finn Carter, Truett & Mallorie Johnson, Lyanna Johnson and Brier Waldner; and a brother Mark Seible and wife Connie. She was preceded in death by her parents.
