Dolores I. "DoDo" Spray (Girard)

SIOUX CITY -- Dolores I. "DoDo" Spray, 78, of Hot Springs, S.D., formerly of Sioux City, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Rapid City (S.D.) Regional Hospital.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Larkin Northside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes. Visitation will be two hours prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Condolences may be posted online at www.christysmith.com .
Dolores was born June 22, 1932, in Sioux City, the daughter of Arthur and Anna Girard. She was raised in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools.
She married Howard H. Spray on July 28, 1949, in Sioux City. Howard died five weeks ago. Dolores missed so much that God took her home to be with Howard.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Geri and Greg Case of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren, Todd Case, Richard Case, Heather Case and Crystal Case, all of Sioux City; Jonette (Spray) Petterson and Becky Spray of Minnesota, and Harley Spray, Joey Spray, John Spray Jr. and Isaiah Spray, all of Hot Springs; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Rehling; a brother, Kenny Girard; and a wonderful "daughter-in-law," Kathy (Spray) Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three sons, Don Spray, John Spray Sr. and Howard Spray Jr.; and four brothers, Stub, Melvin, Keith and Adlore Girard.
DoDo will be greatly missed by her many friends and family members.
