Donabelle Marie Ginsbach, 96, of Moorhead, formerly Sioux City, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, in Moorhead.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1212 Morningside Ave., Sioux City, with the Rev. Armand Bertrand officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitation with family present will 5 to 7 p.m. today at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., Sioux City. Donabelle was born April 6, 1920, in Jefferson, S.D., to John B. and Alma (Turgeon) DeRosier. The family moved to Sioux City when Donabelle was a young girl. She attended Central High School in Sioux City.
During her career, she worked for a telephone company in California for several years, then moved back to Sioux City. She worked for Wincharger, and later the Sioux City Country Club on the catering staff.
She married Bernard F. Ginsbach at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Neptune, Iowa. They resided in Sioux City.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Her hobbies included playing cards, tending her flower garden, going to dances, traveling and eating out.
Survivors include her son, Jerome F. (Rhonda) Ginsbach of Moorhead; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, Charles (Charlene) DeRosier of Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard in 2012; two sisters, Charlene Baranowski and Marian Trembly; and three brothers, John Klug, Frank Klug and Zachary DeRosier.
