SIOUX CITY -- Donna Jean Huseman, 74, Sioux City died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Correctionville Nursing and Rehab Center in Correctionville, Iowa.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Morningside Presbyterian Church. The Rev. David Koehler will officiate. Burial will be at later date in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.
Donna was born Nov. 17,1936, in Sioux City, the daughter of Paul J. and Leonne (Spooner) Walker. She was raised in Sioux City and graduated from East High School. After high school, she entered the service and served in the U.S. Women's Army Corps stationed in South Carolina.
On June 21, 1956, she married Clifford H. Huseman in Sioux City. The couple lived in Sioux City, moved to Denver and then returned to Sioux City in 1971.
She loved being with family and friends and relaxing on her deck watching the birds. She also enjoyed sketching, drawing and her miniature Boston Bulldogs.
She is survived by her husband, Cliff of Sioux City; her six children, Douglas of Olathe, Kan., Mike and Eva of Sioux City, Kelly and Cheryl of Dakota Dunes, S.D., Dixie and Raymond Cain of Sioux City, Roxie and John Engle of Omaha, Jack and Marie of Sioux City; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her brother, Jerry and Dixie Walker of Kingsley, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dick; and a granddaughter, Katie.
