Donna Marie O'Sullivan, 93, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015, at a Sioux City hospital under the care of Hospice of Siouxland.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Donna was born on March 31, 1922, in Norway, Kan., to Swen and Lola (Ainsworth) Erickson.
She was united in marriage to Jerry O'Sullivan in 1944 in Concordia, Kan. Donna worked as a teacher for Longfellow School for 22 years. After retiring, Donna lived in Mesa, Ariz., for more than 20 years before moving back to Sioux City to be close to her family.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, socializing, and playing cards.
Those left to honor her memory include her son, Michael (fiancee, Desiree Bisher) O'Sullivan of Sioux City; grandchildren, Thad (Kristin), Colin, and Mikey Anne O'Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Angela, Kellen, and Adelyn Grace; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and children, Mary, Nancy, Kevin, and Patrick.
