SIOUX CITY -- Donnie Ann Smith, 62, of Sioux City died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with Galen Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.christysmith.com .
Donnie was born Oct. 28, 1946, in Sioux City, the daughter of Marold and Frances (Jolley) Smith. She had lived her entire life in Sioux City. She worked at various locations through the auspices of Mid-Step Services.
Survivors include three sisters, Myrna Elliott of Sioux City, Frances Piper of Lake Mary, Fla., and Maroldine and Art Grabe of Pierson, Iowa; a brother, Bruce and Sue Smith of Sioux Falls, S.D.; nieces and nephews, Bonnie and Hugh Irwin, Beth and Steve Hugunin, Stephen Piper, Francie and Damon Willow, Robert and Christine Armstrong, Todd and Misty Armstrong, Kim Heyen, Liz Fleming and Joe and Marie Smith; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a niece, Sherrie Elliott.
