Dorothy, J. Corbin, 87, of Kingsley passed away on July 2, 2016 at Kingsley Specialty Care.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Moville, Iowa. The Rev. Janet Reickhoff-Farris will officiate. Inurnment will be in Arlington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Moville.
Dorothy was born on May 15, 1929, in Pierson, Iowa, to Edward and Luella (Padel) Larson. Dorothy attended high school in Bronson, Iowa, and graduated in 1947.
She married Richard "Dick" Corbin on Oct. 12, 1948. To this union two daughters were born.
Dorothy loved Yahtzee, playing cards and especially enjoyed visits from her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie (Barry) Wahlberg, and Cheri Wanser; grandchildren, Jeff (Beckie) Wahlberg, Chris (Linda) Wahlberg, Jimmy (Tanya) Wanser, Donnie (Virginia) Wanser, Jaci (Steve) McCurdy, and Jason Wanser; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Blatchford and Mabel (Milo) Swanger; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Dean Larson; son-in-law, Mike Wanser; and brother-in-law, Keith Blatchford.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kingsley Specialty Care and all of her loving hospice workers.
