Dorothy M. Dodge, 90, of Sioux City died Friday, July 24, 2015, in Sioux City.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Morningside Chapel of Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Stacey Gerhart officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at

Dorothy was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Sioux City, to August and Christina (Iwers) Tieck. She grew up and attended school in Sioux City, graduating from Central High School.
Dorothy married William "Bill" Dodge on May 5, 1946. The couple had three children, Billy, Nancy and Barb.
She worked for Pelletier's Department Store, T.S. Martin Department Store and later Norwest Bank.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star (ISIS Chapter) Daughter of the Nile and the Lady Sahibs.
Survivors include her son, Billy (Val) Dodge of Sioux City; her daughter, Barb Tucker (Manny Gallegos) of Aurora, Colo.; son in-law, Randy Krueger of Sioux City; eight grandchildren, Kelly (Dan) DeKalb of Louisville, Ky., Justin Tucker of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jeremy Dodge of Sioux City, Justin Dodge of Sioux City, Jemma Dodge of Sioux City, Scott (Jennifer) Zaver of Courtland, Ill., Robert (Tiffany) Czajkowski of Pine Grove, Ill., and Jessica Schuler (Megan Carlson) of Farmington, Ill.; 10 great-grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew DeKalb, William, Steven, Olivia and Hailey Zaver, and Jaelynn, Ryleigh, Bayleigh and Elias Czajkowski; sister in-law, Betty Tieck of Omaha, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Bill" Dodge; daughter, Nancy Krueger; sister, Francis Hoffman; brother-in-law, Werner Hoffman; sister, Irene VonDrak; brother-in-law, Robert VonDrak; and brother, Robert Tieck.
