Elfrieda Mae Ulrich (Ulrich)

SIOUX CITY -- Elfrieda Mae Ulrich, 91, of Sioux City joined her Maker on Jan. 27, 2012, at Sunrise Retirement.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, 1801 Morningside Avenue.
She was born May 4, 1920, in Dawson, Iowa, to Ernest and Emma (Nutz) Ulrich.
She enjoyed playing Scrabble, bingo, cards, family, gardening, helping others and visiting company. She was also an avid reader who read many books and passed them along.
She always wanted her children to learn from their life experiences and pass them along to future generations.
Survivors include two daughters, Kris and Rick Graves of Sacramento, Calif., and Joy Leiting of Sioux City; one son, Dean Pringle of Moorland, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Herman; and her sister, Marcella.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
