Elisabeth A. Wagner

Elisabeth Ann Wagner, 93, longtime Sioux City area resident, passed away on August 21 at a nursing home in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. A small graveside service is planned for 11:00am Monday, August 31 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel is handling arrangements.
Born Elisabeth Ann Seibert, she was predeceased by her husband Harold Wagner, and five siblings. She is survived by her brother William Seibert of Glendora, California, and also leaves behind three sons, Dennis Joseph, David Joseph, and Michael Wagner, as well as four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Betty Ann was a lover of animals. She enjoyed a lifetime of canine companions, and loved the wildlife that visited her home on the shore of McCook Lake, South Dakota. With this in mind, we would like to request that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Elisabeth’s behalf to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, or any other organization dedicated to the ethical treatment of animals.
