MOVILLE, Iowa -- Elizabeth Anne Harder, 61, of Moville died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moville, with the Rev. Mark J. Stoll and Monsignor Roger Augustine officiating. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Early, Iowa.
Public visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, with the family present from 6-8 p.m. and a parish vigil at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to

Elizabeth was born Nov. 20, 1948, at Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and L. Frances (Higgin) Drey. She lived with her family in Rockwell City and later Sac City where she graduated from high school. Elizabeth continued her education at St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Sioux City and became an RN.
She married James Harder on Aug. 21, 1971, at Sac City. Together they made their home in Sioux City where she worked at St. Joseph's Hospital. In the mid-'70s, they moved to Hornick and Early. She worked at the hospital in Storm Lake during this time. They moved back to the area in 1978 and made their home in Moville. She returned to work at St. Joseph's Hospital which became Mercy Medical Center.
Elizabeth was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moville. She was a thoughtful person who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to their lake house at Okoboji.
Survivors include her husband, James of Moville; her mother, L. Frances Drey, Early, Iowa; daughter, Julie and Phil Bride, North Liberty, Iowa; son, Mike and Kenzie Harder, Norwalk, Iowa; four grandchildren, Aidan and Elena Harder and Sophia and Lauren Bride; four brothers, Bill and Deb Drey of Red Oak, Iowa, Dennis Drey of Albuquerque, N.M., Dale and Kitty Drey of Sac City, Dan and Tracy Drey of Early; two sisters, Patricia and Wesley Kinney of Norfolk, Neb., and Esther and Mike Harrington of Hubbard, Neb.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded by her father, Donald Drey.
