Born in 1914 in Washta, Iowa, she embodies the resilience of the human spirit having lived through the Great Depression and many personal battles. She had been a role model for many with her quick wit, depth of character and bright countenance. She loved church functions, activities at the senior centers and family events. She loved the simple things in life, the cardinals outside her windows, fresh Iowa produce and her friendship of 81 years with Dolores Funke of Sioux City.

Survivors include her children, Marlene and Glenn Selzer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Robert and Bonnie Rohr of Sioux City, James and Susan Rohr of Fenton, Mo., and Rick and Betty Rohr of Storm Lake, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Richard Rohr; a grandson, Daniel Rohr; her brothers, "Jack" and "Bud" Stivers; and her parents, Charles and Millie Stivers.

The Lord will say, "Well done thou good and faithful servant," as she loved helping in a thousand ways, a hard worker at whatever she did. She was deeply loved and will be long missed.
