Emily L. Fender

Emily was born on August 7, 1939 in North Sioux City, SD. She was the daughter of Charles and Emily (Kincaid) Moriston. She lived most of her life in North Sioux City. She attended McCook School and graduated from Jefferson High School. She met Allen Fender in 1975 and together they made their home in Colorado. In 1987, they move back to the Sioux City area. Emily worked for the Sioux City Convention Center for several years. She retired in 1993. Emily was a member of the Church of all Nations and of the North Sioux City Senior Center. Allen died December 30, 2003.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Richards of Sioux City, 4 grandchildren, Trena Richards, Travis Collyns, Trinity Thompson, Tyler Richards, 4 great-grandchildren, Tetreanna Richards, Kameryn Collyns, Calyb Thompson, Caden Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Allen, her brothers, Leonard, Mike, Forrest, Raymond, Charlie and Jim Moriston, her sisters, Ethel, Viola and Lela.
