Evonne Carroyl Marsh

Evonne C. Marsh, 88, died Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Unity Point-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.

A visitation will be 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, Morningside Chapel, 1801 Morningside Ave., with a Prayer Service at 7:30 pm. A funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. There will be a private family burial on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Evonne Carroyl Ball, the daughter of Otto and Bernice (Yates) Ball was born January 20, 1933, in Hawarden, IA. She graduated high school in Climbing Hill, IA in 1951. Evonne then went to work for Toy National Bank.

On November 21, 1954, Evonne was united in marriage with Everett T. Marsh in Climbing Hill. She was employed at Dadants Bee Supplies for over 40 years. Everett died February 15, 2019.

Evonne was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Ladies Circles, and card clubs.

Evonne is survived by her children, Don (Jane) Marsh, Julie (Steve Graham) Gilbert and Mark (Rose) Marsh, all of Sioux City; five grandchildren, Brian (Claire) Marsh, Scott (Katie Speicher) Marsh, Amanda (David Garcia) Gilbert, Stacie (Reid) Beneke, and Kaitlyn (Jeremy Dahl) Marsh; a great-grandchild, Caylix Garcia; a brother, Darold (Sharon) Ball of Sioux Falls, SD; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
