Gail D. Scofield

Gail D. Scofield, 68, of Lawton passed away Friday, May 2, 2014, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Gail was born on July 7, 1945, in Sioux City, to Luverne and Lorraine (Conover) Wallman. She attended East High School and graduated in 1963. She worked as a nanny for 10 years, then with her daughter, Jamie, for 17 years in the restaurant business, and later at Char-Mac Assisted Living Center.
Gail enjoyed fishing, gardening, her dogs, and playing the penny slots. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with family, especially the family trips to Minnesota.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Jamie (Jeff) Keleher of Lawton, and Jason (Shanna) Davis of Mound, Minn.; grandchildren, Zachary Amick and fiancee, Bobbi Rohwer of Minneapolis, Minn., Cody (Kayla) Amick of Sioux City, Barry Amick of Bronson, Iowa, and Levi Keleher of Lawton; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Arlo Amick; sister, Joan (Doug) Hansen of Sioux City; brothers, Bob (Sally) Wallman of Redding, Calif., and Steve Wallman of Idaho Falls, Idaho; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Marilla Keleher of Lawton, and Donna Stewart of Sioux City.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank Julie and Jessie from Hospice of Siouxland and the June E. Nylen Cancer Center for the wonderful care of Gail.
