Glen Allen Fritz

Glen A. Fritz, 74, of Sioux City, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at his residence.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes, with the Rev. David Halaas of St. Mark Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Glen Allen Fritz, the son of Bill and Mildred (Barnes) Fritz, was born on June 13, 1944, in Sioux City. He graduated from Leeds High School in 1974.
On Sept. 14, 1974, Glen was united in marriage with Janice Smith in Sioux City. He worked as a mechanic and handyman for various companies, and then went into business for himself.
Glen was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Glen is survived by his wife, Janice; sons, Allen Fritz and Eric (Lindsay) Fritz; two grandchildren; brother, Art (Sandra) Fritz, all of Sioux City; two nephews; two nieces; a sister-in-law, Beverly Fritz; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Earl and George; and two sisters, Irma and Dianne.
